I encountered this statue when walking through a park near my house. It stopped me in my tracks. I couldn’t believe there was actually a statue suspended above a pedestrian path. We get some serious wind in this area. How has it not fallen down?
Maybe it has, and it’s been repaired time and time again. Or maybe, just like children, it has a propensity for bouncing back unharmed when it gets knocked to the ground.
